Video Lessons
Get access to multiple mini courses and masterclasses covering all the aspects you need to know to successfully complete a research project, from breaking down your research questions in order to create your custom data analysis plan, to crafting a top notch questionnaire, to running your own basic analysis and how to properly communicate with your supervisor (from supervisors themselves!). The courses are short and to the point so that you don’t have to waste any time!
Downloadable Resources
Get access to cheat sheets, worksheets and PDF guides to help you keep on top of your work throughout your research journey. The guides will take you step-by-step through the analysis process and provide you with practical activities and templates to confidently work through your research.
Community Group
Working through a research degree or project can be lonely and exhausting, and sometimes it feels as though no one really understands what you are going through. This can make the journey far more stressful and exhausting! This is the reason the community channel was included in the membership to give you a space to network and connect with other researchers and to get that support that makes the journey so much better!
"Ask the Statistician" Channel
One thing that is really frustrating when taking stats courses or workshops is that there is often no-one to ask directly if you have a quick question and trying to schedule a full consultation with a statistician can be expensive and take a while to organize. In the RSS membership we have a “Ask the Statistician” channel where you can directly ask our team of statisticians those quick questions and get a fast answer during office hours!
Worked Examples
Now learning all the different skillsets required for research is one thing, but sometimes we need some additional practical applications which we get through the worked examples. Go through the entire process from start to finish seeing how the skills you learn can be applied so that you feel confident to try it yourself.
Library of Step-by-Step Videos
In the Researcher’s Support Society, we have an extensive library of all the step-by-step analysis videos in both SPSS and PSPP. These can be referenced at any point when you need them. Never again will you have to try and remember how to perform the analysis you need to run, everything will be there ready for you. And as the number of courses and analyses grows, so does the library of step-by-step videos!
We've all been there... wildly googling every possible technique, every type of research process, how to design a questionnaire, what type of analysis you need, how to plan out your research, how to handle difficulties with your supervisor or colleagues....
